No one wants to be the cause of an innocent creature's death while enjoying a great ride with the moon shining just above. To avoid those road-kills at nighttime, an animal warning system might be a good idea. Thinking on designing the same, designers Sungi Kim and Hozin Song have come up with something they call the "Zerokill."

The Zerokill are solar powered panels designed to line the highways in order to minimize animal road-kills while driving at night. Supported by two methods, the animal warning system’s first process works by using the infrared sensors that are built into the body of the Zerokill panels.

When these sensors detect an animal within the surrounding area, they beam out subtle blinking LED lights, which is a signal for the oncoming motorist to be cautious. In the second method, the Zerokill reflects the oncoming car’s headlights, which will bounce the light sideways, acting as a warning to the animals.
