Wind farms as seen by comic art visionaries

Just recently, BBC Scotland asked animators to come up with animations on how green energy has evolved over the years. Responding to the call, certain mind boggling caricatures surfaced highlighting renewable energy as not only an alternative, but also the only option in the years to come. In Inverness, you could see a truly amazing collection at the Highlands and Islands' only comic book convention this weekend.

Some noteworthy entries include Mo Ali’s wind farm where turbines spin giant heads, Vicky Stonebridge's final choice for her imagined future and Johnny McMonagle's wind energy thieves. Where Mo Ali feels content in picturing the enormity of a wind farm, Vicky Stonebridge details renewable energy as the only way out of the power crunch. Last of all, Johnny McMonagle sees wind as an object to be stolen using huge butterfly nets.
