Tobias Bexten intros solar-powered bikes for short distances

Tobias Bexten’s unique bikes are for those who exhort clean commuting. Drawing juice from the solar panels atop a station, as pictured above, the bikes wolf down zero carbon and promise a clean ride. Obviously, you can’t travel long distances and that’s good in a way.

Impressed with his own ingenuity, Bexten says,

In terms of alternative mobility SEM uses an engine powered by electric energy, which is stored in lithium-ion batteries of the newest technology located under the seat.
Charging of the vehicle happens by the plug-in principle and can be easily done by applying it to a standard power socket.
The used electricity would be gained in sustainable ways at best, for example by providing parking lots and rental stations with solar collectors.

The bikes have lithium-based batteries to store solar power via a standard socket. What is more, they’ve carrying cases (folded sideways ). As Bexten was, I, too, am impressed!
