If we do not go beyond the limits of the possible and try to push them further, we indirectly take them to be the final milestones. And it’s our vision that defines these limits. Anyhow, soon after realizing that Burj Khalifa, formerly known as Burj Dubai, is the tallest man-made structure ever built, towering at 828 m (2,717 ft), architects and designers from KOBI KARP have started to suggest another skyscraper to topple the tally. Dubbed as Miapolis, the 975 m tall building in Miami is waiting in the wings to topple the existing tallies.

Next tallest, ready to take over:

The proposed skyscraper will be a life-sized, green city with some cutting-edge sustainable systems and practices drafted into its design. The 160-floor eco-city would feature entertainment and residential spaces within. An amusement park, restaurants, about 2 million square feet of shops, more than 1000 apartments, 1 mission square foot of office space and a 792-room hotel are among the included features. More than 60 percent of the required energy will come from its roof-mounted wind turbines.

Moreover, a green roof, storm water, wastewater and solid waste management will be taken due care of. When it’s built, it would be the largest LEED-certified structure at any rating level in the United States.

The data above clearly shows that Miapolis will soon dethrone Burj Khalifa, while it's undeniably far above the rest in the list.
Anyhow, below are some amazing pictures of the world’s tallest building (as of now) from its construction stages to the opening ceremony.
