The Brando: Luxury eco-resort pays homage to legendary Marlon Brando

Before calling off all debts, Marlon Brando, the legendary actor should have preceded others to attest his green credentials. However, posthumously, he joins the likes of Kylie Minogue, Nick Hexum and Sir Richard Branson in conjuring up a sustainable beach resort on the French Polynesian atoll of Tetiaroa. In a year or two, the luxury eco-resort, dubbed as The Brando, will be open to public with all-inviting 47 deluxe bungalow villas.

Bought back in 1965, the site and project as well kept on lingering around for the official authorization from the Tahitian government. Now, Richard Bailey, Brando’s friend oversees the project. The beach resort will be having a spa, fitness center and a community pool once Tahiti Beachcomber furnishes the copious island. Moreover, the line of hotels is due for a novel sea water air conditioning system (SWAC), which is an extremely eco-friendly cooling solution.
