Aiming to develop a healthier cycling culture, Taiwanese designers Yen-Chi Yu, Cheng-Yu Tseng and Chao-Han Lee have come up with a brilliant design that emphasizes on sustainability. The “PCS bike” is an electric bike that is specially designed for shorter rides. Flaunting its unique design, this green bike can be seen as a medium to reduce traffic congestion in Taiwan.

Exhibited as part of the 'Fun Taiwan, New Design' exhibition during DMY International Design Week Berlin 2010, the PCS bike comes with compartment space that not only provides storage for user's belongings but also serves to help fold the bike into a portable unit. The young Taiwanese designers see their innovative bike as a great way to reduce carbon emission levels.
