The inspiration
The aim was to create a product that ensures the best possible safety measures and is also stylish. The company conducted surveys and analyzed video footage of crashes and accidents, it re-enacted the crash scenarios to finally come up with the perfectly reliable sensor system, which activates itself only when an accident or crash occurs.
How high is the green quotient of this product?
This hood-shaped, nylon airbag doubles as a helmet, saving upon resources, money and labor that would have gone to make two different products. It also includes LED battery display meter.
The fab factor
The biggest advantage of opting for this product is that the fabric of the shell can be changed to complement anything that you wear. The sensors along with the automatic inflation technique ensure complete safety. There is also an LED battery indicator. The inflation time of 0.1 seconds ensures that inflates fully before the head hits the ground.
The ensemble
This chic product here is a bicycle helmet that you have never heard of or seen before. It is a super stylish fashion accessory that inflates like an airbag in the event of a collision and ensures safety of the cyclist. Dubbed the “Hovding”, this zip-up collar includes an airbag system which automatically inflated in the event of a crash by a sensor system. This trendy fashion accessory features an on/off switch, a LED battery display meter, and a micro USB port for charging the battery and uploading accident information after a crash. The Hovding comes in two styles and will soon be seen in a variety of patterns and colors.
