Egypt has and will always be known for its amazing pyramids, but just like the rest of the world looks towards skyscrapers for a green living, this beautiful nation too is making way for a sustainable tower. Dubbed the “Space-Scraper”, this mixed-use development has been for the Maadi neighborhood located in the southern part of Cairo, Egypt. The design features three twisting towers that have are beautifully interconnected on the top floors using a geo-sphere.
Offering the maximum view of the stunning adjacent Pyramids, Cairo, and the Nile, the structure boasts green features like water recollection systems, solar panels, and wind turbines. Designer Mohamed Abdel-Aziz shows all three towers playing a different role, the first tower houses only offices, the second one is a five star hotel while the third one has high-end residences. A seven floors podium makes the commercial area that includes restaurants, cinemas, and retail areas. In order to look into the inhabitants’ fitness and health care needs, the geo-sphere behaves like a health center with a Spa, swimming pools and other fitness areas.
