Some fruits, vegetables sold in Canada found contaminated with pesticide

When we thin of healthy-food, fresh fruit and vegetables are the first ones to be put in the list. But, things are not so for the ones sold in Canada. Do you know, more than 20 per cent of fresh fruit and vegetables, tested federally, and are sold here show traces of pesticide contamination?!

But, in a new analysis being released by CropLife Canada on Monday, claims that there's no reason for consumer concern. They justify that in almost all cases, the pesticides found on food are well within the safety limits set by Health Canada. But, this claim has kicked up outraged disputes from environmentalists and some health experts.
