HP is working on a prototype of a solar-powered lightweight computer display that will help them find their way.

Making use of the popular E-Ink display technology, the display could easily be worn around the wrist. The 200 microns thick display is capable of displaying maps and directions, so that soldiers can easily keep a track on which path to follow. It will incorporate solar cells that will generate energy by trapping solar energy. HP plans to present the military with these innovative prototypes early next year.
