K’s Japan, a Japanese company has launched an electric guitar named SMASH, made from fully recyclable parts. It's ideally suited for those green guitarists, who never want their broken instruments (during a performance, or otherwise) to add to the woes of the planet.

Featuring a light and fragile hollow body, the guitar produces a cracking sound when it’s smashed. Now, it is a strange qualification: One needs to be over 18 to buy this instrument. Why? Anyway, SMASH is available in either black or white, and retails at about $60 (5,250 yen) in Japan. For clients elsewhere, the electric instrument is available here and here.
