Victor Perez has come up with an elegantly recycled collection named Sk8lamps. The artist’s passion for skateboarding and art led to such an amazing creation, which is also eco-friendly. He has intelligently used discarded stuff and given them an artful life.

The designer

Victor Perez, an artist from Philadelphia, has come up with the Sk8Lamps. As a child, he loved skateboarding and got his first Fibreflex skateboard in the year 1977. The artist's love for art made him come up with a gallery that had an art show about the human form once a year. Victor decided to concentrate on artwork and crafted eye-appealing lamps from recycled stuff.

The lamps are constructed of used or rejected decks, wheels and trucks that have either fulfilled or cannot fulfill their intended purposes.

Green treasure
