Sensing that you won’t do it yourself, designers Sang-in Lee and Dae Hyun Kim wish to mend your ways by applying brakes to your shower practices. They’ve designed the Shower Brake, which allows you to use a sparse amount of water and makes you more conscious about water conservation.

The high-tech contraption offers visual stats of the water used over the period you kept showering. Various knobs control your water usage while making sure that the temperature and pressure does not exceed a desired level. The descending, transparent lever works as a timer since you can actually see the amount of water and time you’re left with.
