Running until January next year is the Sculpture Promenade at the Fitzwilliam museum, Cambridge. The Promenade basically consists of bronze and steel sculptures that are wind-driven and perfectly mobile. Angela Conner, Ann Christopher, Mike Lyons, Nick Turvey, Nick Hornby and Rob Ward join the list of eco-artists who seek to put their creativity to public view via 14 sculptures.

Dr Timothy Potts, museum director, said...

We were delighted with the great success of the inaugural Sculpture Promenade last year, which brought contemporary art out on to the street and so many new visitors into the museum. The installation this year, which groups works by a single artist on each lawn and one under the portico, gives a broader view of each artist than before.

A 71 percent increase in the number of children coming to the museum has led to 32 percent more visitors this year. At Fitzwilliam, you could see people appreciating the good job done by the artists.
