Restore wetlands worldwide & reduce bird flu threat

Irani SenApr 15 2006

With the wetlands around the world losing their character, the wild birds that may have avian influenza are pulled out to alternative areas - farm ponds, paddy fields. It is here, they come in contact with hens, ducks, geese etc! Commissioned by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), a new report finds this.
