The designer

Mr. Martin has brought these beautiful sculptures to life. This creative artist has been creating these sculptures for nearly 10 years now. He has already made sculptures of roses, water lilies and lily pads, spider webs with spider, praying mantis, dragon flies, cockroaches, lady bugs, ants and dragons.

The material

These incredible sculptures are adding beauty to recycled metal like copper and brass. The one that do not exhibit the natural colors of these metal wear eco-friendly colors. All of them are handcrafted, saving resources and the environment.

The creation

Martin has created everything from flowers to insects to giant monsters. His sculptures range in size from small (2″ black widow) to medium (18″ diameter spider web) to large (Dragons with 36″ wingspans). Made from recycled copper and brass, these pieces of art are truly jaw-dropping. The “OOAK Karthos” is a wyvern standing some 33 inches tall fashioned from recycled copper and brass. The head, arms, legs and upper tail area are made from a copper sheet, while its teeth are made from old brass screws. The “Orange Colored Copper Rose with White Hand” is made from recycled copper, and colored with orange and green dye oxide, then topcoated with an exterior clear lacquer. The hand is carved from poplar wood and painted with white enamel paint.

The Praying Mantis is handmade from recycled copper and then painted using green dye-oxide with Permalac exterior lacquer topcoat. Its body is shaped from copper sheet, while the legs and antenna are made from copper wire. The 6 inch Copper Roach has legs made from copper wire and is brazed to the abdomen. Made from recycled cooper, the large black scorpion is finished with a black dye-oxide and an exterior lacquer topcoat. The frighteningly realistic large black willow spider made of copper sheet and wire.
