Chris Hanley, a Hollywood film producer, recently got the privilege of living in the innovative work of prefab pioneer Jennifer Siegal. The latest design by the Office of Mobile Design is called the “Prefab Showhouse.” The structure that initially served as OMD’s showroom for inquisitive clients in Venice, CA has now been shifted to the desert community of Joshua Tree to let Hanley enjoy his stay in there. The cute little 720-square-foot modular home residing over 80 acres lot offers a magnificent view with peace and solitude.

The Prefab Showhouse includes the latest technologies with luxury given special attention. The sleeping space is separated from the public eating/living space by the kitchen/bath core in the center. Kirei board, bamboo and coconut palm flooring also adds to the suitability factor. The green technologies that the modular mansion flaunts include tankless water heaters, radiant heat ceiling panels and translucent polycarbonate sheets. It features high-end amenities like an iPort integrated sound system, Boffi kitchen and Duravit bathroom fixtures.
