Postie concept electric bike to ease mail carrier's task

As Australian-based budding industrial designer Sam Weise plans to replace the Australian-Post owned Honda CT110 bike with a better and cleaner one, he proposes his concept electric bike called Postie. The pedal-assist bike comes with powerful six valence lithium ion phosphate modules that take three hours for full recharge. With a top speed of 60kmph, Postie can take the mail carrier through his service area with an 80 km backup when its battery is fully charged.

The zero-emission bike hides the mail carrier’s leather bag under its seat. Supplied with an aluminum frame, on board computer, bag attachment, single speed direct chain drive, permanent magnet AC synchronous motor, Postie mixes style with comfort; and, that too, without comprising with its green credentials.
