Centrally located in southeast Portland, the 20,000 square feet Fido’s Indoor Dog Park is the greenest, indoor community dog park for those pampered dogs. It is a climate-controlled play space with 13,000 square feet of special K-9 anti-microbial turf made from 100% recyclable materials. The first of its kind indoor dog park has a 98% chemical-free, 1,400-gallon pool.

Green Seal Certified Yolo Colorhouse has supplied zero volatile organic compound (VOC) paint for its interior walls. Locally manufactured, non-toxic enzymatic cleaner called Biozyme keeps the inner environment clean and odor-free. A biodegradable doggie waste system and bags make modern composting practices practicable. Other features include daycare and boarding services, webcams, a self-wash dog bathing area, a specialty retail store with all natural products, a wireless Internet access, and event and meeting space for members. Owner Josephine Cetta says…

People can relax and have fun here any day of the week, regardless of the weather. We also practice the philosophy of the three R’s — reduce, reuse, recycle — in everything we do to provide a healthy, clean, green indoor environment for our members.

Where you need to pay $10 for a full day’s use of the play area sans the pool, you can allow your canine comrade to access anywhere for $275 a month.
