Temperatures are surging fast, lakes drying up, glaciers retreating, oceans leveling coasts, biological creatures showing signs of extinction. Do you know what it is all about? Yes, there is hardly any person who doesn’t have the answer. The culprit behind such extreme changes on and above earth is the one and only global warming.

Glaciers that are the source of lakes are retreating in turn parching the ponds. There are innumerable such examples. Lake Superior in North America, known to be the largest freshwater lake is showing signs of drying up. A glacier lake in Andean Chile has completely disappeared from the map of the world leaving behind a crater. Several lakes in polar Canada, that are the source of water in the Arctic and lifeline for many marine creatures, appear to be drying, as temperatures keep moving up.
Glacier retreat in Greenland and Antarctica has already been recorded sending tremors all around. Once the glaciers melt fully and drop into the oceans, the water levels in the seas and ocean bodies will suddenly gush inundating coastal areas and disrupting life in and around the water bodies.
Climate change is up for something very bad. Abundant use of fossil fuels has led to a surge in global temperatures pushing civilization to the door of extinction. How long can we endure this extreme change in global climate, time will be witness.
