With none to challenge its status of being the world’s smallest car, the 1962 Peel P-50 will now come in two variants: the Peel P-50 and Trident. Peel will replace the scooter engine with an electric powertrain before it puts some 50 pint-sized cars on the market at £12,499 ($19,335 U.S.).
The Peel P-50 weighs around 130 pounds and the dimensions read a 50 inches wheelbase, total length 52.8 inches, width 39 inches and height 47.2 inches. Only one door is there to allow you and your luggage to get into the smallest-ever automobile. The three-wheeled car awaits your approval for sure.
