Each window facing east is made of 475 panels of 19- millimeter vertical stacked glass. It is set in a crenelated manner, which allows optimum light to pass and at the same time maintaining privacy.

The home is equipped with solar design systems thus making it environmental friendly. These panels act as insulators thus regulating the temperature according to the season. An internal triple height slate wall traps solar energy and keeps the house warm even after sunset.

Paul Raff Studio is designing an eco- friendly house but as the house uses a lot of glass in its construction. It would be interesting to know whether the glass used is recyclable. Is the glass eco- friendly as the house is?
