Oomy Design’s Recycly waste receptacles add fun element to recycling

Oomy Design is out with its Recycly waste receptacles that make recycling fun. Designed by keeping little children in mind the robots are of three diverse types. The trio of color-coded robots are programmed in a way so that they can detect the waste inserted in them. The Recycly containers are made from Crion.

Crion is a ultra-white plastic that is weather-resistant and a self-cleaner, in addition to being the perfect blank canvas for a backlit display. Whenever waste is thrown in them, they illuminate with a blue colored light for paper, green for plastic, while yellow symbolizes organic waste. The brilliant minds behind this concept are Vanessa Moreno, Nenad Katic, Marian Sánchez Aedo, and Clara Bonafé. The Recycly waste receptacles are a perfect replacement to the garden gnome.
