Offshore Turbine City to promote tourism in Norway

Desh Raj SharmaJan 23 2010

While hoping to put the wind potential of Norwegian coasts to the maximum use, On Office proposes to build the Turbine City off the coast of Stavanger - the oil capital of the country. Spread across a nautical locale of 31,500 m2, the mammoth project will include 49 wind turbines. A central structure, dubbed as Turbinby Stavanger, will house a hotel, spa and museum, powered entirely by the turbine itself, for avid sightseers.
