It is really eye-catching and soother. After more than 50 long years, India has another reason to attract bird-lovers from across the world.
The country's tourism industries, gear up! A new multicolored bird species - with a black cap, a bright yellow patch around the eyes and yellow, crimson, black and white patches on the wings - has been found in India.
Such a discovery has been made in the geographically diverse country atleast 50 years later.
The vibrant colored bird -- Bugun Liocichla -- was spotted in May in India's remote Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary, located in northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh near China's border, according to Ramana Athreya, a member of Mumbai's Natural History Society.
The bird is named after the Bugun tribe living in the area by its founder, Athreya.
