Ingenuity is a spark that belongs to everyone, however, how one makes it transcend the ordinary is another tale altogether. A rickshaw-puller from Kathmandu, Nepal, contacted a professor with an idea and a hope that the latter will lighten his burdensome daily task. And it happened actually, when the Nepalese professor designed and built a windmill for his rickshaw. Now, the pedicab driver pulls his rickshaw through Kathmandu’s streets with extreme ease as the rotating drum connected to the rear wheels through a side-mounted gear provides ample thrust to his wind-human hybrid vehicle.
