Last week, we told you about the Sortify trashcan that was intelligent enough to sort rubbish almost effortlessly. Another recycle bin concept does the same with a slight difference. Dubbed as Neo, the trash bin designed by Ingrid Njono classifies garbage as electronics, trash, recyclable or worth-composting to avert any contamination arising henceforth.

Neo doesn’t instruct the users manually. Rather, it has simple icons, color codes, and sensors to ensure that the right content goes to where it should be. After detecting a trash sample, the bin allows the user to drop the same in the allotted container. If it’s wrongly placed against a wall, the turntable at its bottom ensures that it could be accessed from any side.
