While some may take a dim view of the invention, it’s going to help make the planet a greener place. Utah-based inventor Paul Patone created the GEET (Global Environmental Energy Technology) fuel processor that cuts emissions by 90 percent and triples fuel economy. Why he uses Mountain Dew particularly demands an explanation for sure.

Check out the video after the jump:
The fuel processor includes a plasma field generator. It has a “liquid to vapor phase changer,” wherein the system vaporizes fuel. The vaporized fuel runs through the exhaust in the opposite direction, thus stimulating the collision of hot and cold air masses. Next, there is an air management valve for adding the right amount of air to Mountain Dew, providing the engine with the driving force. Such a neatly drawn project is worth the consideration, if not commendable and realistic altogether, for sure.
