Meagan Streader is an artist from Brisbane Australia whose main interest is contemporary art. The artist has recently exhibited her work of contemporary art at the White Canvas gallery which essentially is made out of similar materials – tissues, papers, paper-like material, fabrics, LED lights and so on. Despite the basic 'ingredients' to her art work being quite similar, her pieces are quite unique and different and are heavily influenced by nature. Each piece is reminiscent of natural surroundings. Some remind us of the pinkish horizon during sunset, while some might remind us of the colorful coral reefs deep under the ocean.

Her collection called "Mother of All" is a true ode to all things that nature made. Since contemporary art is something that can be interpreted differently by different people, "Mother of All" can be seen in a myriad ways. It is a fine blend of art and the organic and the pieces arouse all your senses with the vivid colors, sound, light effects that create an illusion of nature.
The material that has been mainly used in the "Mother of All" is tissue paper that has been printed in a lace-like pattern with blank ink. The tissue is them blended with Bondcrete and in placed over foam balls to create dome-like 3-D shapes. Likewise, a lot of 3-dimensional shapes are created using chicken wire, wire and canvas which collectively form the artwork.
Coupled with LED colored lighting, the whole vision looks surreal. The translucent quality of tissue paper and the black pattern that shine from it gives it a remarkable appearance! Truly, the "Mother of All" is an innovative contemporary work of art that ignites your senses and creates an illusion of nature in its purest form.Via: Meagan Streader
