Moebius House has solar corridors within its flexible 'micro design'

Where rigidity mars the overall design of a living place, it's its flexible nature that makes the same space adapt to various uses. Hoping to realize the same, Tony Owen Architects endeavors to introduce "micro design" in construction of the Moebius House that faces the Sydney Opera House and the Habour Bridge. Mimicking a car to some extent as far as the assembly part is concerned, this house also flaunts solar corridors that are neatly woven into the environmentally sensitive fabric of the building.

Micro design makes use of a parametric modeling software that makes it extremely easy to introduce some minor and major changes to the design. Agreed the design never brags simplicity, still what it offers is a residential space that complements the surrounding landscape.
