Conceptualized by Georgios Kontaxakis, the “Modular Housing” is an urban development that brings nature, functionality and ingenious design under one roof. Creating a livable and serene environment in the city, the mixed-use complex houses residential apartments, cafes, restaurants and offices. The entire urban cell is made by placing shipping containers artistically. A standard typology of apartment blocks blends in harmony with the secondary typology of three-storey houses around a courtyard. The compact design allows to reduce energy impact, creating a unique urban garden.
