If we wish to sustain our lives in a green way, we need to be ready with innovations and utilize whatever we have at our disposal. Since the future will demand a lot from us, ACME suggests a terrace design that provides a contemporary look into the Baroque terraced-landscape building enveloping the Weilburg Castle Gardens. The 19,200 square meter project will encompass a city center with residences and apartments making way for parking spaces.

The entire architecture utilizes some horizontal layers of stony veneer that appears as fins allowing daylight to filter through them. It provides shade when the sun does not exempt anyone and as a rain screen when it pounds outside. The ridge-like structure has green roof public parks that insulates the construction and aids the water infiltration too.
