Maggie Boasts Organic Wool Socks

Irani SenOct 28 2005

How do wool socks go organic? The Maggie's Functional Organics have a reply to this. The company is the first one to crow domestic certified wool socks. The organization is part of the recently announced Organic Wool Network. The sheep from which the wool comes are made to graze on organic pastures. They are also raised without the use of chemicals of any kind (including hormones, antibiotics, and parasiticides). The sheep are raised in two areas only. They are, -- a vineyard in Northern California called Larocca Vineyards, and a Rangeland in the Western U.S. The socks are not carbonized or chemically shrunk. It's a great venture of Maggie Functional Organics. Thanks Justin for the information.
