Lydia makes the revolutionary call, poses semi-nude for PETA

Finally, after a long break, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is at it again. Promoting vegetarianism in the same way as it used to do before. Revolutions after revolutions, poses after poses, messages after messages, now we’re here with Lydia Guevara baring it (not all) for vegetarianism. She treads on the same footsteps her grandfather, Ernesto “Che” Guevara, used to do. Well, you need to wait until October to see the campaign go in print. First, it will be launched in Argentina and then worldwide. It’ll be great to see whether Argentina or the entire continent becomes a witness to yet another revolution. Either way, it’s surely going to uphold the legacy of revolution.

Guerilla Warfare and the PETA Ad Campaign:

While Che mastered the strategies of the Guerrilla Warfare, Lydia is advocating the green ideology and is displaying the same moral fiber. Except the causes they stand for, the spirit to influence others is the same. The beret and the torso is another not-so-obvious parallel. Lydia appears wearing a beret and a bandoleer of carrots round her torso; so very reminiscent of Che’s overall persona.

I assume that things are actually not that analogous, nor the context even. Mind you, there’s the difference of motive. Once Che had proclaimed that he loved killing and had recently discovered that. It’s not so with Lydia hopefully.
