Loopwing Korea makes a grand debut at the Renewable Energy Korea 2010 with its new streetlights and renewable energy generators. Developed in the shape of the loop type blade, the horizontal axis small wind power generator is efficient, noiseless, safe and durable. This unique design allows the wind turbine to convert wind speeds as low as 2m/s into electricity.
The Loopwing type wind power generator comes in two models – a self-powered streetlight and the μ series of portable wind generators. Titled the “TRONIC”, the streetlight with a hybrid solar and wind energy generator features loop wing style blade of diameter 1.5m. It doesn’t need extra power from any additional source and can be connected to external devices like LED display systems too.
The μ series features small and medium sized wind power generators that can generate electrical power of 2kw, 5kw and 11kw. These innovative generators has a life of 20 years in area with great deal of salt and dust and are also operational in cold climate condition under -20°c.
