Hailed as ‘Mango Solar Lamp’, this innovative exterior and/or interior lighting solution uses solar LED lamp. The lamp that derives power from solar energy is made using two methods. The first method uses a fruit called Totumo for production. The oval shaped fruit that resembles a giant mango is dried and transformed into a lamp. Known for its toughness and durability, it has been used for centuries to obtain many creative pieces of art.

Well the second method comes into use in case of mass production and especially in places where Totumo is not found. Under this process, the mango shape of the lamp is obtained by recycling PET from beverage bottles. These beautiful and interesting solar lamps are not only a help to the environment but also the poor who earn a living by recycling PET plastic.
