West Cranmore-based artist Fiona Campbell, who owes her eco-awareness to her Kenyan upbringing, has started creating a life-size spider from recycled steel hoops, found cans and a reclaimed urn for the Glastonbury Festival. You will see the imaginative art sculpture standing in the Green Fields. The 13-foot spider will solicit public participation while asking them to attach cans to its body for making the spider’s web. An urn, found in woods, will make the spider’s head.
