Featuring a 240W electric motor and a 25.9V lithium-ion battery, Lexus' newest hybrid concept bike – previously unveiled at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show – now make inroads into the Great British Bike Ride. The bike frame is made from carbon fiber. The bike makes use of regenerative braking to recharge its battery. Moreover, it runs on Eco or Power modes, as per the requirements.

The Lexus Hybrid Bicycle’s other features include all-wheel drive and an electric eight-speed transmission sourced from Shimano. Well, the wannabe purchasers might need to wait until it goes into production; not anytime soon, mind you!
