The Miami Dade College located at Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami will soon see a campus center fully loaded with green features. Proposed by Oppenheim Architecture + Design, the structure is designed to meet terms with LEED certification. The center consists of two towers that support the base and the top of the building, providing large exterior public spaces at both ground and sky level. Not only will the mix-use building house the college's 250,000-square-foot center, but also a two-level commercial space wrapping the entire base of the building as well as an open-air campus arts quad on the third level. The quad will have a sloping auditorium inside it that will witness all the cultural events held by the college.

The exterior of the structure features veins of steel creating an exoskeletal system that boosts efficiency and reduces the requirement for huge shear walls aside from the core. It incorporates a wall system that includes impact resistant, energy efficient glass window offering ample daylight. The building will have meeting facilities and an athletic center, in addition to a residential component with small studios, one-bedroom rental units and full service hotel. The underground parking garage is designed to accommodate as many as 1,700 vehicles and includes a loading/service zone too.
