French architect Sebastien Ramirez has created a greenhouse out of firewood beams and reclaimed objects to satisfy his mother’s desire to have one in her garden. Initially, the designer wanted to use corrugated polycarbonate for his mini-project. However, since he didn’t have the requisite budget to do so, he utilized whatever he had at his disposal.

Mimicking a pupa to the fullest, the exquisite woodwork mixed with recycled windshield glass enabled him to construct the La Serre, or the greenhouse. The images below validate how a slight touch of ingenuity can capably overcome the lack of resources.
