Designed by Korean designer Jihae Kim, the Wind Heater utilizes wind energy to cook food and provide heating for those desert-dwellers who have to rely on trees for the same. The green design was one among various entries at the prestigious IIDA Awards 2010 competition, organized by Designboom and Incheon Metropolitan City.

The unique concept consists of a mini wind turbine, a wind energy accumulator, a ventilator, a cooking range, heater and a heating system. The system could hopefully drive some thinking souls from usual desertification practices to an eco-favoring solution.
