Aiming to bring about a positive change in attitude, here’s a new app for iPhone and iPod Touch called EcoSnoop that not only corrects the ‘environmental offenders’, but also spreads green messages among the social networkers.

It makes reporting as easy as a click of a button. If you happen to come across some controversial eco-offense, what you need to do is snap it with your iPhone and upload it to Ecosnoop with details. Now let the GPS function on your phone tag it for other EcoSnoop environmentalists. After seeing it with a map of your area, others can file their comments, suggestions and the resolution as well. Once it is resolved, it is indicated via green thumbs up. So easy and effective as well!
