Squid skin is very artistically transformed into bottle-like shapes by stuffing the squids with rice or grain. After this process, they are dried in the sun until they get a beautiful golden brown color. Now the bottle it absolutely ready to offer a smoother and milder tasting liquor. The reason for the smooth and mild taste is that liquor absorbs flavor from the squid. Ika Tokkuri can be used for nearly 5 to 6 times before it provides you a delicious meal.
