High Desert Pavilion: Sustainable residence attunes to typical Oregonian climate

Resting on a high desert prairie site, the very low-slung building named High Desert Pavilion seems to gel with the enveloping landscape superbly. Designed by architects at PIQUE LLC, the green building offers a true Oregonian experience to the nature-lovers. Nothing could be more soothing than watching the sunrise from its northeast patio. The private patio next to the master bedroom is expressly for the stargazers.

During the winter months, ample sunlight seeps in through the southern patio. Conversely, when its summer, one could escape the fury of sun by simply cuddling in the interior courtyard. Finally, three parallel axis walls are there to skillfully delineate outdoor rooms.
