Taking a break from monolithic structures, JA Joubert Architecture has designed a mixed use structure with its own mini ecosystem. The building called Greenside Out has been designed keeping in mind the urban regulations practiced by the city of Tirana, Albania features hollowed out structures that help create a bio network around the structure. The design with its glass facades ensures ample daylight and natural ventilation helping all parts of the building stay fresh and illuminated. This also helps reduce power consumption and save energy.

More so the sustainable structure with beautiful open spaces is ideal for urban gardening and proliferation of local flora. The design also recently won an International Competition in the mixed use category.
