Greenland right whales can live up to nearly 200 years! Eye tissue reveals

Do you know that some of the rare bowhead whales can outlive humans by generations?! Yes, also known as Greenland right whales, at least one bowhead male can live for up to 200 years. Scientists have revealed this by examining their eye tissues.

Jeffrey Bada, a marine chemist at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California informed that the population 5 percent is over a hundred years old. Even in some cases they live up to 160 to 180 years!
