Green Noise harnesses energy from noise along runways

Designed by Hung-Uei Jou, the Green Noise shows a sensible way of saving the abundant sound energy on airports. The green concept makes the free decibels worth utilizing by converting them into electricity to make runway lights glow. Touting conical speakers to maximize sound collection, the contraption also has curved surface to avoid any contact with rainwater.

The modular structure rests on a trivet to suffice easy maintenance, waiting in the wings if any of the lights breaks down.
