water cycle interrupted by global warming

Global warming is a universal malady ready to devour life on earth. Besides, warming surroundings by shooting the mercury, carbon dioxide is a great obstacle for plant respiration cycle, which impacts atmosphere indirectly.

So long, we were obsessed with the theory that trees and vegetation are the best means to curbing global warming, but a new study has found that plants are themselves vulnerable to oozing levels of carbon dioxide. Plants absorb carbon dioxide through tiny pores called stomata, but with every increase in the amount of CO2 into the atmosphere, the excess carbon dioxide blocks the stomata, thereby obstructing the intake of the gases by the plant. In turn, a lowly cycle of lesser intake of CO2 and less evaporation is stirred, affecting the entire natural water cycle. Because of meager evaporation, excess water passes into the ground as run-off, running into the rivers and seas, resulting in flooding.

global warming brought floods

Until now, it was assumed that global warming would stimulate a cycle of droughts and flooding. This new theory goes a long way in proving that recurrent flooding will be the result of global warming than frequent droughts. And the current pathetic situation on almost the entire globe says the entire story. Most of the countries are under severe flooding with thousands of casualties. Be it Asia, Africa, Europe or Australia, all are under immense stretch of natural disasters of which flooding is prominent. And the future that lies ahead can be seriously dangerous.

As man sets to open his eyes and venture on to mitigating the expensive tragedy waiting to hit the globe hard, some vital cure is the urgent requirement. If man fails to curb emissions, God save man and the planet!
