Vietnam is gearing up for a lavish and grand scale living. After taking approval from local authorities, Vietnamese DWP architects have begun the construction of a self-sustaining community in district 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Hailed the “Everrich 2” apartments, the 630,000-square-meter housing complex aims to be a green and self-sufficient community. The single continuous loop styled structure promises varied kind of glazing and natural landscaping.


The green credentials that the building flaunts include natural ventilation, sky gardens, green roofs and lavational shading treatments. All these features constitute in making the housing complex very efficient in terms of energy usage. It not only incorporates precast concrete, but also maximizes the use of local masonry. The Everrich 2 apartments have 3,100 apartment units standing in the open, away from the concrete jungle.
