Don’t those long journeys leave you stressed and exhausted? Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. has introduced a new concept that reduces stress and fatigue of drives, offering both driver and passengers the necessary comfort for an optimum driving experience. Dubbed the “Health & Well-Being” concept, this green concept features three new technologies that include Comfortable Captain Seat, Advanced Climate Control System and Quick Comfort Seat Heater.
A part of Nissan’s larger “Life on Board” strategic technology focus, the concept is designed to create a comfortable in-car environment. The new Comfortable Captain Seat design will adopt three methods, namely “seat cushion-integrated leg rest,” “articulated seatback,” and “three-layered cushion pads” to increase comfort, while new Advanced Climate Control System allows three related devices to be controlled with a single switch – the Plasmacluster Ions generator, the inside/outside air control, and the grape polyphenol clean air filter.
The Quick Comfort Seat Heater optimizes heating density and control. It first warms the area of the thighs and buttocks, after the heat becomes stable it is followed by warming of the lower back and the thighs, creating a longer sense of comfort. Apart from giving a relaxing effect, all these techniques also help to improve blood circulation, thereby reducing driving fatigue.
